The initial Sportline model is the M15A4 Carbine (SP001P). Feature-rich, the Sportline M15A4 Carbine comes with a 300 round high capacity magazine, five position collapsing stock, detachable carry handle, side sling mount, and adjustable front and rear sights
The charging handle and ejection port cover are fully functional: pulling the handle back opens the ejection port cover. The Sportline is fully compatible with all Classic Army parts and accessories including rail systems, handguard sets, and metal bodies
The Sportline M15A4 Carbine features a plastic body bearing the familiar Armalite logo molded into the body. Despite the plastic body, the gun weighs in at 5.15 pounds empty. By comparison, the full metal Classic Army M15A4 Carbine weighs 5.65 pounds. The Sportline features a metal stock tube and one piece metal barrel. The upper and lower parts of the plastic body fit together snugly and are designed for quick takedown. Simply removing the front body pin allows the upper receiver to slide forward off the lower body.
The internals of the gun shows the highest quality craftsmanship for such a low priced AEG. A one piece hop-up unit is used to ensure consistent and reliable feeding, and newly designed motor comes standard in the Sportline guns with a high rate of fire. The entire gearbox has been re-engineered from the ground up, utilizing brand new molds for all of the components. This results in a tighter fitting, better performing AEG.
The Sportline Carbine shoots amazingly well. The Sportline series performed flawlessly.
